Art and Music Therapy in Rehab and Beyond
How can experiences with art and music heal your heart, support your rehabilitation and enhance your life at any age? Join us at Seattle Children's Hospital for a presentation on uses of art therapy and music therapy. David Knott, Board Certified Music Therapist and Rosalie Frankel, Board Certified Art Therapist, will describe some of the benefits that can be gained through the creative arts therapies. Guest artist Brom Wikstrom will join the discussion and demonstrate mouth-painting. Some examples and practical information about the use of art for personal growth, expression and enjoyment will be provided, and attendees will learn more about adaptive equipment, community resources and varied levels of participation. All ages welcome.
