Announcing the next SCI Forum:

 

Community Mobility: Getting Where You Want to Go

Find out about the different transportation options available for people with disabilities in King County and beyond. This presentation will cover the spectrum of public transportation (fixed route bus, DART, Access, Light Rail, Bus Rapid Transit) as well as additional services such as Hyde Shuttles, volunteer transportation and wheelchair accessible taxis. Transportation experts Jodi Connolly of Harborview’s “Getting there” Transportation Resource Center and Amanda Bryant of First Transit will provide a host of information so you know how to get the most out of using public transportation and how to plan ahead to make sure your outings are pleasant and successful. “Consumer experts” (transit users with spinal cord injuries) will be on hand to share experiences and tips.
